Choosing a location for trading
The closer the server is to your broker's trading server, the faster your orders arrive. Ask your broker where its servers are (many are in London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt or New York) and pick the nearest location.
Setting up MetaTrader
Connect to the Windows server with Remote Desktop, download MetaTrader from your broker, sign in to your trading account and enable your expert advisor. When you close Remote Desktop (without signing out), MetaTrader keeps running on the server.
