How hourly billing works
To create an hourly server your wallet must hold at least 7 days of that plan's cost. After that, each hour is charged to the balance; the hour in progress counts as a full hour when you delete the server.
A server costs money until it is deleted, even while it is stopped. If the balance runs out the server is stopped, and if the wallet isn't topped up within 24 hours it is deleted.
What hourly servers are good for
Testing software and deployments, short compute jobs, customer demos, training and anything else that needs a server for a few hours or days.
